Entry Requirements

  • Which packs are valid to enter the promotion?

    The valid promotional packs are Clover Original 500g, 1kg, Clover Lighter 500g or 1kg.

  • How many times can I enter the promotion?

    You can enter the competition as many times as you like throughout the promotion duration with different pack codes, although only one Prize may be won per household. All entries require a pack code (18 digit code on Clover Original 500g, a 16 digit code on Clover Original 1kg or a 14 digit code on 1kg Clover Lighter 500g and 1kg found on the lid of all packs) you can use each pack code up to ten times for entry. However, bulk and third party entries are not allowed and will not be counted.

    NI and ROI entries without purchase are limited to one per household per prize draw.

  • How old do I have to be to enter the promotion?

    You have to be 18 years or over to enter this promotion.

  • I live in Northern Ireland / ROI, can I enter without purchase?

    Yes. To enter without purchase in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, email your name, address, telephone number to: Clover@madabouthandling.com

    You can also enter by post by sending you name, address and telephone number to Clover NI/ROI Entries, PO Box 151, Ludlow SY8 9BE.

    Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland entries without purchase are limited to one per household per prize draw.

  • I live in England / Scotland / Wales / CI / IOM. Can I enter without purchase?

    No, you have to purchase a promotional pack to be able to enter this promotion, based on changes to the UK Gambling Laws in 2007. Evidence of purchase is required by supplying the pack code, found on the lid of all packs.

  • I live in England / Scotland / Wales / CI / IOM. I don’t have access to the internet. Can I still enter?

    You can enter by post. Please send entries on a plain piece of paper with your promotional pack code, your name, address and contact telephone number to:

    All entries must be received by the closing date to be eligible for the draw. The final closing date is 10th September 2011. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt and the promoter accepts no responsibility for entries lost in the post.

  • When do I have to enter by to win the prize?

    There are 10 closing dates. Your entry must be received before the closing date in order to be counted for that draw.

    Closing dates are: 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th May, 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th June, 3rd July and the final draw on 10th September 2011.

    Each weekly prize draw closes at 23:59 on the above date and the new draw opens at 00:00 the next day. The final draw closes at 23:59 on 10th September 2011.

  • Where can I find my promotional code?

    The code is found on the lid of your promotional pack. And will be a combination of letters and numbers.

  • What does my code look like?

    Clover Original 500g consumers should look for an 18 digit code. It is a combination of letters and numbers and EXCLUDES the colon. It is in the form: 15 OCT 09 A 9211 11:10 L1 and looks like this on the Clover lid:

    Clover Original 1kg consumers should look for a 16 digit code. It is a combination of letters and numbers and EXCLUDES the colon. It is in the form: 29 AUG 09 9164 D 14:22 and looks this on the Clover lid:

    Clover Lighter consumers (500g & 1kg) should look for a 14 digit code. It is a combination of letters and numbers and EXCLUDES the colon. It is in the form E1H 10 SEP 10 01:57 and looks like this on the Clover Lighter lid:

  • I have typed in the correct code but the website says it is not valid.

    Please try again and make sure you are typing in the correct format as above. In the entry form, ensure that you enter your details into every field of the entry form marked with an *

    If this still does not work please send us an email from the ‘contact us’ section of the website, including your pack code (18 digit code for Clover Original 500g, 16 digit code for Clover Original 1kg and a 14 digit code for Clover Lighter 500g & 1kg, all found on the lid of the pack).   • Can I re-use my code?

    Each entry requires a new pack code to be entered as proof of purchase. There is an 18 digit code for Clover Original 500g, 16 digit code for Clover Original 1kg and a 14 digit code for Clover Lighter 500g & 1kg, all found on the lid of the pack. Each pack code can be used up to 10 times per entrant.

  • I can't read the code clearly on my pack.

    The code is a mixture of letters and numbers and looks similar to:

    1. Clover Original 500g: 10 SEP 11 A 9211 11:10 L1
    2. Clover Original 1kg: 10 SEP 11 9164 D 14:22
    3. Clover Lighter 500g: A1H 10 SEP 11 01:57
    4. Clover Lighter (1kg): E1H 10 SEP 11 16:35

    Please check the lid and see if you can make out the numbers / letters. If you are still having problems please send us an email from the ‘contact us’ section of the website and we will enter on your behalf.

  • I have bought more than 1 tub of promotional Clover and/or Clover Lighter with the same pack code.

    The pack codes are not unique numbers. Please do not worry, as long as you have a 1 pack to verify each entry, you can enter both pack codes at the same time.

  • What are the prizes?

    There is one prize to be won in each prize draw (10 in total). The prize will be a Fab28 Smeg Fridge in the winner’s choice of either Silver, Yellow, Black, Blue, Cream or Red. The winner will also receive a food package to stock up their new fridge.

    Food will be supplied from British Fine Foods and will include a selection of meats, fish, seasonal fruit and vegetables plus Clover of course!

  • Can I choose a cash alternative instead?

    There are no cash alternatives available.

  • How do I claim my prize?

    All winning consumers will have the opportunity to check that the personal information they gave is correct. The winner will be notified by telephone or email within two weeks of the draw they entered with further details of how to claim their prize. The prize must be claimed within 28 days from first notification. All reasonable efforts will be made to contact winners, however, if the prize is not claimed within 28 days after the first attempt of contact, the winner will forfeit their right to the prize.

  • When will the winners be notified?

    Winners will be contacted within two weeks from the relevant draw date.

  • I received a note to say someone had tried to deliver my prize. What do I do now?

    Please call the courier company to rearrange your delivery.

  • Can I see who the winners are?

    The winners’ names and counties will be available after the closing date for 6 months by sending an SAE to: Winners of Clover Competition, 185 Park Street, London, SE1 9DY. Winners’ names will also be published on the Clover website (www.cloverfamily.co.uk)

  • How much is the prize worth?

    Each prize is worth £1000.
